On October 15, 2026, in the Shashkovsky village executive committee of the Stolbtsy district, a single information day was held on the topic “Traditional values of Belarusians: family, society, state,” timed to coincide with Mother’s Day and the Week of Parental Love.

The event was attended by the chairman of the district Council of Deputies Sergei Shestel, the chairman of the village executive committee Tatyana Shepetko, the head of the district environmental inspection Alexander Soroko, the director of TBZ Neman Andrei Klinchuk and the rector of the Church of the Cathedral of the Belarusian agricultural town of Shashki, priest Sergei Dovydenko.

During the meeting, the role of family and spiritual values ​​in the life of society and the state was emphasized; the priest congratulated the women on Mother’s Day and the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The importance of cooperation between the state and the Church was noted.
