Priest Oleg Legan took part in the event “The crown of all values is family” at the Izhsk schooltranslated

On October 15, 2026, as part of the republican campaign “Week of Parental Love”, a festive event “The crown of all values is family” was held at the Izhskaya basic school in the Vileika district.

Since the meeting was timed to coincide with the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, the rector of the Church of Saint Righteous Joseph the Betrothed, Priest Oleg Legan, gave a welcoming speech.

He dwelt in detail on the importance of a Christian approach to educational topics related to preparing children for the feat of creating a family.

The clergyman gave detailed answers and explanations to all questions received from the audience.

Then the students of the Izhsky branch of the Vileyka Children’s Art School took up the relay of the holiday with vocal and instrumental performances under the direction of the school’s teacher Larisa Legan.

Pupils of the Izhsk Basic School took to the stage to give their response performances.

After the completion of the musical part, everyone was invited to a general tea party.

The event was attended by all the teachers and students of the Izhskaya basic school and some of the students’ mothers, fathers and grandmothers.
