Priest Mikhail Derkach took part in a festive event dedicated to the celebration of Fire Service Day of the Republic of Belarustranslated

On August 1, 2026, the cleric of the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in the city of Brest, Priest Mikhail Derkach, took part in a festive event dedicated to the celebration of Fire Service Day of the Republic of Belarus. This event was carried out by the Brest regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and took place on the territory of the fire rescue unit No. 4 in Brest.

After words of congratulations from the head of the Brest Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, Colonel of the Internal Service, Dmitry Viktorovich Komarchuk, the floor was presented to Father Mikhail. In his address to the rescuers, the priest congratulated the firefighters on their professional holiday and wished God's help in carrying out their service. Father Mikhail also blessed new equipment that entered service with this unit.
