Priest Mikhail Derkach was awarded a Certificate of Gratitude for interaction with emergency authorities and units of the Republic of Belarustranslated

On September 16, 2026, on the eve of the feast of the icon of the Mother of God “Burning Bush” - the heavenly patroness of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavsky Veniamin, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, led the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Tarasovo, Minsk region. Concelebrating with His Eminence was the cleric of the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in the city of Brest, Priest Mikhail Derkach.

The service was attended by the Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus Vadim Ivanovich Sinyavsky, the management staff of this ministry and cadets of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

After the Divine Liturgy, awards and memorial signs were presented to both employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and representatives of the clergy of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, which became evidence of fruitful interaction. One of the recipients is Father Mikhail, who was awarded a Certificate of Gratitude for his interaction with emergency authorities and units in solving the tasks assigned to them.
