Priest Hilarion Maksimets held a meeting with students of the Krasnodar State Institute of Culturetranslated

On October 12, the dean of the 5th Krasnodar city deanery district, the rector of the Church of St. Spyridon, Bishop of Trimifuntsky, the miracle worker, Priest Hilarion Maksimets met with first-year students of the Krasnodar State Institute of Culture.

The meeting took place within the framework of an educational program approved by Metropolitan Vasily of Ekaterinodar and Kuban.

The central theme of the conversation was love in all its senses: love for parents, for the Motherland, marital love, and above all, God’s love for man and man’s reciprocal feeling for the Creator. Father Hilarion elaborated on the theme of the Fall, recalling that we are the heirs of a world that has changed after the act of Adam and Eve. In the story of biblical events, the priest paid special attention to how fear and deception arose in human experience and how these consequences of the fallen world are reflected in the life of modern man.
