On August 14, 2026, the cleric of the Cathedral of the Holy Righteous Anna in the city of Stolbtsy, Priest Georgy Kuryan, held a meeting and conversation with students of the middle and senior groups of the summer health camp of the State Educational Institution “Zayamnovskaya Secondary School”.

“The Cross of Christ as a landmark of spiritual life” was the main topic of the conversation. The priest told the children about the fall of the ancestors Adam and Eve, their expulsion from the Garden of Eden, about the Cross of the Lord, about the spiritual life and spiritual growth of a person through attention, help and care for others - the simplest, but also the most important manifestations of Christian love.

They did well to talk precisely about the Cross and caring for one's neighbor - children understand this most easily if you tell them in simple terms. I remembered how last year when I was fishing with my son I told him the same thing about Adam and Eve and how everything was fine with the Cross.
