The Romanian Cultural Institute in London marks two decades of activity on Thursday with a photography exhibition and a concert performed by an international ensemble.

The event will take place from 19:00 at the Institute's premises at 1 Belgrave Square, London.

According to the cultural institution, the anniversary exhibition "PAST FORWARD: 20 Years of Romanian Culture in London" proposes a visual retrospective of the two decades of activity of the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, bringing together a wide selection of photographs that document the events, personalities, performances, exhibitions and meetings that have defined the course of the institution.

The exhibition can be visited until December 5, from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 16:00.

The musical moment will be supported by Unicorn Frequency, an international ensemble coordinated by the Romanian-British violinist Bogdan Văcărescu. The band proposes a dynamic musical incursion, in which Romanian and Balkan folk traditions meet Greek, Italian sounds and other influences from the European musical heritage.
