The icon of the Mother of God, the Burning Bush, was included in the calendar of the Romanian Orthodox Churchtranslated

The icon of the Mother of God "Burning Rosary" was entered in the calendar of the Romanian Orthodox Church and will be celebrated on September 4. The decision was taken by the Holy Synod in the meeting of July 2.
The date of the celebration of the icon was set on September 4, because on the same day the Holy Prophet Moses is also honored, to whom the miracle of the appearance of the Burning Bush is connected.
The icon is kept at the Antim Monastery in the Capital, having been brought from Russia by a group of monks who retired at the beginning of the 20th century to the Holy Mount Athos.
In 1929, she reached the future hieromonk Daniil Sandu Tudor, who brought her to the monastic settlement in the Capital.
After his arrest in 1958, the icon arrived at Sfântul Cuvios Petroniu (Tănase) from Prodromu. He gave it to Archimandrite Benedict Ghiuș, who bequeathed it to St. Pious Sofian of Antim.
