Ia and the popular Romanian port are presented in an exhibition in Rometranslated

Ia and the Romanian folk port are presented at the Museum of Civilizations in Rome in the exhibition "Romania. The identity representation of the popular port in art", open to the public until August 26.
The event is hosted in the Hall of Honor of the Palace of Popular Arts and Traditions in Rome.
The exhibition brings together over 120 works from the heritage of the National Art Museum of Romania (MNAR), from Romanian museums, private collections and the creation of contemporary artists.
The exhibition is organized by MNAR, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Romanian Embassy in Italy, as part of the Romania-Italy Cultural Year 2026.
The popular port in Romanian art The works present the role of the iea and the popular port in the construction of the Romanian identity and its representation in art.
The exhibition course includes painting, sculpture, graphics, photography, decorative arts and contemporary creations.
A special emphasis is placed on the works from the "La Blouse Roumaine" series by Henri Matisse, located in the collections of the National Art Museum of Romania.
