Culture Hub at Matache Square: People United and Sector 1 City Hall inaugurated an open-air librarytranslated

The People United Association and the City Hall of District 1 of the Capital inaugurated an open-air library on Friday, which they named the "Culture Hub".

It was installed on the esplanade at Piața Matache, in a gazebo protected from the weather, and the first books were borrowed by children supported by the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Sector 1, who participated in the opening.

Volumes can be borrowed and returned or taken and replaced with other books brought from home.

"It's an invitation to discover what happens when reading becomes a collective experience: connections are made, ideas are exchanged, perspectives are opened and community is built," said People United representatives.

"We are waiting for you to discover together what happens when a community puts books into circulation. You may even find the volume you have been looking for for a long time," the representatives of the Sector 1 City Hall, a partner in the project, also conveyed.
