"Honoring Saint Mary Magdalene, let us also become apostles of the Savior Jesus Christ", exhorted Bishop Galaction of Alexandria and Teleormanu, on Wednesday, at the dedication of the Pantocrator Monastery in Dragănești-Vlașca.

His Eminence showed the saint's unwavering faith and love towards Christ, which become a model for every person, reflecting "first of all through the deeds of our lives - which should be Christian, pleasing to God -, and secondly, through the word we speak and through which we confess our faith".

Amen. Bishop Galaction very nicely said that it can be seen first in actions, and only then in words. St. Mary Magdalene not only cried at the grave, but also ran to tell the apostles - here is an example of what real apostolate looks like. Thank God for such holidays and messages.

Amen, Marko. You noticed that order very well - actions then words. In our parish, last year we went to the church after the liturgy to help an old woman in the village, so I remember that as a real apostolate. And have you been to a similar church this year?
