"Honoring Saint Mary Magdalene, let us also become apostles of the Savior Jesus Christ", exhorted Bishop Galaction of Alexandria and Teleormanu, on Wednesday, at the dedication of the Pantocrator Monastery in Dragănești-Vlașca.

His Eminence showed the saint's unwavering faith and love towards Christ, which become a model for every person, reflecting "first of all through the deeds of our lives - which should be Christian, pleasing to God -, and secondly, through the word we speak and through which we confess our faith".

The love of Saint Mary Magdalene Starting from the testimony of the Holy Apostle Paul in the Epistle to the Romans, His Eminence showed that the saints lived the love of Christ so deeply that nothing could separate them from Him.

"In the life of each of the saints it is evident that their love for God was so strong that no one and nothing could separate them from Christ. Neither life nor death, because many of the saints, whom we honor in the calendar of our Church, were confessors and martyrs, sealing the confession of faith with their very lives."

Marko SavićAmen. Bishop Galaction very nicely said that it can be seen first in actions, and only then in words. St. Mary Magdalene not only cried at the grave, but also ran to tell the apostles - here is an example of what real apostolate looks like. Thank God for such holidays and messages.
