Church at the monastery in Băile Herculane: St. Joachim and Ana, model for all Christian familiestranslated

"Saints Joachim and Ana remain models for all Christian families, for families that have children and for families that don't yet have children," said Bishop Lucian of Caransebeș on Tuesday at the consecration of the "Nastrea Maii Domnului" Monastery in Baile Herculane.

His Eminence urged parents to pray to Saints Joachim and Ana for their children, especially at times when communication with them is difficult.

"When parents acquire rebellious children, irresponsible children, let them pray to the Holy Fathers Joachim and Anna, because they intercede before their daughter, the Mother of God, and the Mother of God constantly prays before her Son and our God for the return of all of us to the path of salvation, to the good path."

Bishop Lucian of Caransebeș highlighted the exhortation of the Savior Jesus Christ from the Gospel of the celebration: "Happy are those who listen to the word of God and keep it" (Lk. 11:28).
