The choir of the Ekaterinodar Theological Seminary performed a concert at the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairstranslated

With the blessing of Metropolitan Vasily of Ekaterinodar and Kuban, on October 10, on an open-air stage, the choir of the Ekaterinodar Theological Seminary under the direction of Priest German Gait gave a concert at the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The concert program consisted of two parts and was of a patriotic and spiritual nature. The first section was devoted to sacred music. Works by Russian composers and liturgical chants were performed, including “Praise the name of the Lord” (Kashinskoye), “The Lord is my enlightenment” (music by Nikolsky), “Our Father” (music by Kedrov the Father) and others.

In the second part, famous military and Cossack songs were performed, dedicated to courage, love for the Motherland and the memory of fallen heroes. The choir performed such works as “I’ll go out into the field with a horse at night”, “I have a Cossack on war”, “In the dugout”, “Katyusha”, “Oh, roads”, “Eternal Flame”, “Cranes” and “Victory Day”.

The group's performance was met with prolonged applause. Such events emphasize the importance of spiritual and moral education of law enforcement officers and strengthen the connection between the Church and the law enforcement system.
