His Grace Bishop Andrei Participates in Events Marking the Historic Return of the “Mircea” Training Ship to Miami

At the invitation of Mrs. Elena Gabriela Eremia, Consul General of Romania in Miami, His Grace Bishop Andrei of Cleveland participated in the events organized in Hollywood (Miami), Florida, on the occasion of the historic return of the Romanian Navy training ship Mircea to the United States. His Grace attended the events as the representative of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel, Archbishop of Detroit and the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America.

The program began at Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church in Hollywood, Florida, where His Grace Bishop Andrei officiated the Service of Thanksgiving, assisted by the parish priest, V. Rev. Dr. Silvius Sfera, V. Rev. Fr. Dumitru Sasu – Holy Trinity Parish Miramar, Rev. Fr. Gabriel Alexe – St. Polycarp of Smyrna Parish Naples, and Rev. Fr. Nicolae Codita – Holy Cross Parish Hollywood.

Also present was His Excellency Andrei Muraru, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the United States of America, together with Mrs. Elena Gabriela Eremia, Consul General of Romania in Miami, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the Romanian community, and invited guests.
