His Grace Bishop Andrei of Cleveland Celebrates the Patronal Feast of St. Sofian of Antim Mission in Montreal, Canada
L’Île-Perrot, Quebec, Canada — With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel, on Sunday, September 27, 2026, the 18th Sunday after Pentecost (the Miraculous Catch of Fish), His Grace Bishop Andrei of Cleveland visited St. Sofian of Antim Mission, where he celebrated the Holy and Divine Liturgy for its patronal feast.
Assisting His Grace at the Holy Liturgy were the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Nicolae Marinescu, and Rev. Fr. Bogdan Petru Ion, an attached priest at Holy Brancoveanu Martyrs Church in Montréal (Lachine), Quebec.
Founded in 2026, the mission is one of the newest communities of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America. May God bless its clergy and faithful!
Preasfințitul Părinte Andrei de Cleveland s-a aflat în mijlocul credincioșilor Misiunii „Sfântul Sofian de la Antim”
L’Île-Perrot, Quebec, Canada — Cu binecuvântarea Înaltpreasfințitului Părinte Arhiepiscop Nathaniel, duminică, 27 septembrie 2026, în Duminica a 18-a după Rusalii (Pescuirea minunată), Preasfințitul Părinte Andrei de Cleveland a vizitat Misiunea „Sfântul Sofian de la Antim”, unde a oficiat Sfânta și Dumnezeiasca Liturghie cu prilejul hramului.
