His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel Visits Holy Resurrection Monastery in Temecula, California

TEMECULA, CA — On August 18–19, 2026, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America visited Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Monastery in Temecula, California, concluding his pastoral journey through Southern California.
Upon his arrival at the monastery, His Eminence was welcomed by V. Rev. Hieromonk Dionisie, Abbot of Holy Resurrection Monastery, together with the monastic brotherhood.
During his stay, Archbishop Nathaniel spent time with the brotherhood, joining the monastic community in prayer and fellowship. The visit offered His Eminence an opportunity to speak with the abbot and the community about the life of the monastery and to offer his paternal encouragement and blessing.
The visit to Holy Resurrection Monastery concluded His Eminence’s pastoral journey through California. During his time in the state, Archbishop Nathaniel visited the Dormition of the Ever-Virgin Mary Romanian Orthodox Parish in Anaheim, where he celebrated the parish’s patronal feast; Saint Anne Romanian Orthodox Parish in Pomona; and Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel Romanian Orthodox Parish in Palm Springs, where he visited the construction…
