His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel Participates in the 78th Annual ARFORA Congress

His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel participated in the 78th Annual Congress of the Association of Romanian Orthodox Ladies Auxiliaries in America (ARFORA), held June 5–7, 2026, at Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church in Hollywood, Florida.

The official proceedings of the Congress opened on Saturday, June 6, with welcoming remarks offered by Mrs. Ioana Mihăilescu, National ARFORA President; Rev. Dr. Silvius Sfera, parish priest of Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church; V. Rev. Fr. Sabin Pop, National ARFORA Spiritual Advisor; and His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel.

In his address to the delegates, His Eminence reflected on the inspiring example of Saint Olga of Alaska, who was a preoteasa, a wife, and a mother, and who has now been glorified among the saints of the Orthodox Church.

His Eminence emphasized that Saint Olga was not a princess or a person of worldly prominence, but an ordinary woman of the people who faced the struggles and responsibilities of daily life with faith, humility, and love. She was deeply loved by her family and community, and she is now honored and loved throughout the entire Church.
