His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel Celebrates the Holy and Divine Liturgy at Saint Anne Parish in Pomona, California

POMONA, CA — On Sunday, August 16, 2026, the Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America officiated the Holy and Divine Liturgy at Saint Anne Romanian Orthodox Parish in Pomona, California.
On this day, the Orthodox Church also commemorates the Holy Brâncoveanu Martyrs: Ruler Constantin Brâncoveanu, his four sons, Constantin, Ștefan, Radu, and Matei, and his counselor Ianache, together with Doamna Maria Brâncoveanu, wife of Ruler Constantin Brâncoveanu.
Assisting His Eminence at the Holy and Divine Liturgy were V. Rev. Fr. Cornel Avramescu and Rev. Hdn. Benedict Oancea.
The celebration began on Saturday evening, August 15, when His Eminence presided over Great Vespers at Saint Anne Parish. The service was officiated by Rev. Fr. Florin Iftode of Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel Romanian Orthodox Parish in Palm Springs, California.
