Hierarchical Divine Liturgy Celebrated at Holy Cross Parish in Hollywood, Florida

HOLLYWOOD, FL — On Monday, September 14, 2026, the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America, together with His Grace Bishop Andrei of Cleveland, Auxiliary Bishop of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America, officiated the Holy and Divine Liturgy at Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Parish in Hollywood, Florida, in the Miami area.

Assisting His Grace were V. Rev. Fr. Silvius Sfera, the parish priest; Rev. Fr. Nicolae Codiță, attached priest of Holy Cross Parish; and Rev. Hierodeacon Benedict Oancea.

The clergy and faithful gathered in prayer to celebrate the feast dedicated to the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord. This celebration also marked the conclusion of the hierarchs’ journey through the state of Florida.
