Gomel diocese and Gomel State Medical University discussed cooperation planstranslated

On October 8, 2026, representatives of the Gomel diocese met with employees of the Gomel State Medical University.

The participants discussed current issues of interaction, activities under the cooperation plan for the 2026–2027 academic year and joint initiatives within the framework of the XII regional Pokrovsky educational readings.

The working meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work L. G. Soboleva, Head of the Department for Ideological and Educational Work O. I. Nesterenko, Deputy Deans for Ideological and Educational Work of Faculties E. V. Gandysh, I. M. Maloletnikova and M. A. Chaikovskaya, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine O. N. Kononova.

Also participating in the meeting were the head of the “Orthodox Youth of GomSMU” detachment, assistant of the Department of Environmental and Preventive Medicine N.A. Potylkin, cleric of the parish of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in Gomel, Priest Pavel Sedko and employee of the Department of Education and Culture, educational psychologist of the Gomel Diocese Olga Pavlovna Morozova.
