The head of the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis performed a thanksgiving prayer service at the Monastery of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Teacher's Daytranslated

On October 16, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk performed a thanksgiving prayer in the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Vsetsaritsa” of the Dormition Monastery in the city of Krasnoyarsk, timed to coincide with the festive events dedicated to Teacher’s Day.

Liturgical chants were performed by the Siberian Men's Choir. The leaders and teachers of the Krasnoyarsk, Yenisei and Lesosibirsk Orthodox gymnasiums prayed during the service.
