On October 24, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk performed a funeral litany at the graves of the dean of the churches of the Achinsk district, the rector of the Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the city of Achinsk, mitered Archpriest Evgeny Frolov and his wife Mother Svetlana in Sharypovo.

Father Eugene reposed in the Lord on August 24 after a serious illness. Clergy and laity offer daily prayers for the repose of the soul of the newly departed shepherd. Mother Svetlana Frolova, the first director of the Preobrazhenskaya Orthodox Primary Gymnasium in the city of Achinsk, died in 2013.
