The head of the Don Metropolis met with students of the Lyceum of Classical Elite Educationtranslated

On October 20, 2026, the Head of the Don Metropolis, Metropolitan of Rostov and Novocherkassk Mercury, visited the Lyceum of Classical Elite Education, where he met with students in grades 9–11 and the teaching staff.

His Eminence was met by the first deputy governor of the Rostov region, Vladimir Revenko, and the head of the lyceum, Vitaly Petrashchuk.

The communication took place in the format of an open dialogue. Lyceum students asked the archpastor questions about morality, leadership and personal responsibility. During the conversation, Metropolitan Mercury also touched on the topics of patriotism, the meaning of life, the distinction between good and evil, as well as the preservation of spiritual guidelines in difficult life circumstances.

Particular attention was paid to the moral development of a young person, the formation of life values ​​and the preservation of the best human qualities in the face of modern challenges. The Metropolitan emphasized the enduring importance of love in a person’s life and called on young people to cherish this feeling.
