On October 30, 2026, in the working village of Sholokhovsky, Belokalitvinsky district, the grand opening of the Mariinsky Gymnasium, a branch of the Belokalitvinsky Matvey Platov Cossack Cadet Corps, took place. The opening ceremony was attended by Governor of the Rostov Region Yuri Slyusar, Senator of the Russian Federation from the Legislative Assembly Vasily Golubev, Director of the Department for Cossack Affairs and Cadet Educational Institutions of the Rostov Region Sergei Krasavin, Acting Head of the Belokalitvinsky District Vladimir Golubov, Bishop of Volgodonsk and Salsky Anthony, Dean of the Belokalitvinsky District Archpriest Yuri Garbuz, director of the Belokalitvinsky Matvey Platov Cossack Cadet Corps Vladimir Didenko and director of the Mariinsky Gymnasium Natalya Voinova.
