The "Episcop Melchisedec" Foundation of the Roman and Bacău Archdiocese will run four education and social support projects for children and vulnerable people, this fall.
The new initiatives benefit from non-refundable funding from the Neamț County Council and the local administration of the city of Roman.
According to a post on the institution's Facebook page, the president of the CJ Neamț, Daniel-Vasilică Harpa, highlighted the role of projects for the community.
"Through these financings, we support projects that capitalize on traditions, crafts, heritage and local identity and that create new forms of meeting between culture and community," Daniel-Vasilică Harpa said on Wednesday on the occasion of the signing of the financing contracts.
Education and culture for children One of the projects supported by the Neamț County Council is "Melchizedek Bishop and Kindergarten - We Start School Together", intended for a number of 100 children, with priority for those from vulnerable backgrounds.
