Photos taken by Constantin Brâncusi will be exhibited for the first time in Bucharesttranslated

The public will be able to see 40 original photographs taken by Constantin Brâncuși, at the Art Safari New Museum in Bucharest, between September 18 and December 20.
The photos will be exhibited as part of the project "Brâncuși and his muses", curated by Doina Lemny, art historian and researcher of Brâncusi opera. They come from the collection of the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca.
The exhibition marks the Year of Constantin Brâncuși, established in 2026 on the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Romanian sculptor. The project will be presented at Art Safari New Museum, in the space at Piața Amzei 13, Bucharest.
"In addition to sculptures, original photographs, documents and films will be exhibited that will recreate the atmosphere of the Parisian workshop," said the curator.
Through these materials, the public will be able to follow the cultural and personal relationships that influenced Brâncusi's artistic universe.
