The "Plaiurile Mioriței" festival brings together ensembles from three continents in Buzăutranslated

The "Plaiurile Mioriței" International Folklore Festival brings together, between July 23-26, in Buzău, popular ensembles from Europe, Asia and America.
The event has reached its 11th edition and brings to the public folk costumes, choreographic styles and traditions specific to several cultures.
"The festival atmosphere will be completed by the Handicrafts and Crafts Fair, a space dedicated to popular creators and artisans who carry forward traditional crafts," the Buzău County Council said.
Ensembles from Romania, Latvia, the Republic of Korea, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, the United States of America and Northern Cyprus participate in the festival.
The event started on Thursday with a parade, followed by the official opening at the "I.C. Brătianu" Museum Center.
Traditional dances and crafts Visitors will be able to discover ceramics, fabrics, icons, jewelry, decorative objects and other handmade creations, each bearing the stamp of passion and authenticity.
The festival also reaches Râmnicu Sărat, where international ensembles perform on Friday and Saturday, in front of the town hall.
