Philanthropy Federation: One hundred elderly people from Vrancea benefited from free ophthalmology consultationstranslated

One hundred elderly people from Panciu and Focșani II Deaneries benefited from free ophthalmological consultations with the help of the Philanthropy Federation of the Romanian Patriarchate.

The initiative started on Monday, October 12, at the settlement of the "Saints Peter and Paul" Parish in the city of Panciu, where 60 elderly people from the neighboring communities benefited from a medical check-up, after which they will receive a free pair of glasses, according to the established diagnosis.

The following day, another 40 elderly people benefited from free ophthalmological consultations at the Budești Parish facility.

According to the Archdiocese of Buzău and Vrancea, this approach complements the actions carried out at the beginning of spring in the archdiocese of Buzău I and Buzău II.

The activity is part of the "Help an elderly person to smile!" Campaign, through which more than 5,000 rural and urban elderly people have been supported to date.
