On September 27, the traditional annual chess tournament took place at the chess club in the city of Mozhaisk. The competition was attended by chess players from Mozhaisk and the city of Vereya, as well as the rector of the Assumption Church in the village of Pushkino, Archpriest Anthony Nazarenko, who blessed the tournament and took part in one of the games.

Before the start of the competition, the priest addressed the participants with parting words, wished everyone a fair fight and concentration at the board, and then he sat down to the game along with other players. According to the organizers, the participation of the clergyman became a good tradition of the tournament and added special solemnity to the events.
