Anniversary event: Former gambling addicts met at the Neamt Monastery Seminartranslated

More than 120 people, former gambling addicts and relatives, met, in the first days of July, at the "Veniamin Costachi" Theological Seminary at the Neamț Monastery.

The meeting took place as part of the anniversary convention "In the Family", on the occasion of the five-year anniversary, respectively three years of activity of the groups of Players Anonymous "Mirune" from Botoșani and "Viata spă joc" from Iași.

"We hope that the joy of this anniversary convention will reach the heart of each participant, and then each one in turn will pass on the joy of these meetings to those who could not make it to the convention," the organizers said.

The program of the event included the participation in the Holy Liturgy officiated by the Most Reverend Father Nichifor Botoșaneanul, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Iasi, in the seminary church.

After the service, there was a dialogue session where His Eminence answered the participants' questions.

Bine că au venit peste 120 de oameni, și foști dependenți și familiile lor. Mă bucur că a vorbit și Preasfințitul Nichifor după Liturghie, oamenii au nevoie de astfel de întâlniri concrete, nu doar de vorbe. Oare tema despre iertare au reușit s-o termine?
