“This is the authority that really works”: Ural residents testify to miracles through prayers to Spyridon of Trimifuntskytranslated

Yekaterinburg - awaiting the right hand of St. Spyridon of Trimythous. Previously, the great Christian shrine from the Greek island of Corfu visited the city of St. Catherine in 2014 and 2018. Today, clergy and parishioners of Ural churches remember the imminent intercession of the great wonderworker in response to the heartfelt prayers of believers.
In the Christian tradition, Saint Spyridon is considered one of the most revered ascetics. According to church tradition, Spyridon of Trimifuntsky was born in Cyprus at the end of the 3rd century and was a contemporary of Nicholas the Wonderworker. He had a kind and sympathetic soul. The homeless found shelter, food and rest with him. He was endowed with grace-filled gifts: insight, the ability to heal others, love for people. Saint Spyridon was a simple shepherd, but his lack of learning did not prevent him from understanding theological depths. The saint was elected bishop of the city of Trimifunt. It is a great miracle that the saint, whose entire relics reside on the Greek island of Corfu, wanders around the world to this day. At night, invisibly, he goes out to help people who have ever turned to him for help.
He shared his stories about the miraculous help of St. Spyridon with an OTV correspondent...
