Bishop Vincent consecrated the domed cross and bells in Bolsherechyetranslated

A memorable and historical event took place in the regional center of Bolsherechye - Bishop Vikenty of Tara and Tyukalinsky performed the rite of consecration of the cross and new bells for the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God, which is under construction.

The solemn service was held with the participation of the dean of the district, Archpriest Andrei Reshitov, the clergy of the Bolsherechensky deanery, and numerous parishioners. Vladyka Vincent, together with the clergy, offered special prayers, sprinkled holy water on the unarmed cross, dome and tent, as well as a full set of bells for the main church of the deanery. The consecrated cross and domes will become the main crowning elements of the church - they symbolize the aspiration to heaven and the spiritual height of the Orthodox Christian community.

The solemn consecration was attended by the head of the Bolsherechensky district Sergei Aleksandrovich Noskovets, the ex-head and good friend of the diocese Vasily Ivanovich Maistepanov, the chairman of the district Council of Deputies Viktor Ivanovich Schreider.
