On July 30, 2026, Bishop Vikenty of Tara and Tyukalinsk visited the Tara branch of the Omsk State Pedagogical University (OMSPU).

During the visit to the university, the bishop had a warm meeting with the director of the branch Lyudmila Petrovna Berestovskaya, her husband Alexander Mikhailovich Berestovsky and daughter Olga. The bishop was accompanied by the secretary of the Diocesan Council, Archimandrite Thaddeus (Cherednichenko) and employees of the diocese.

In recognition of his services in strengthening spiritual and moral traditions and developing cooperation between the Tara diocese and a higher educational institution, as well as in memory of three and a half decades of service on the Tara land, Bishop Vikenty presented Lyudmila Petrovna with a commemorative breastplate in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Spassky Cathedral in the city of Tara.
