Bishop Vincent attended the patronal celebration in Muromtsevotranslated

On July 9, 2026, on the day of the celebration of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God, Bishop Vikenty of Tara and Tyukalinsky led the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Muromtsevo, Kalachin diocese. The clergy of the dioceses of our Irtysh region served with the archpastor. Bishop Silouan of Kalachin and Muromtsevo prayed at the altar.

The hymns of the Liturgy were performed by the male choir of the Omsk Metropolis under the direction of Deacon Sergius Paliy.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the bishops led a religious procession through the district village. The solemn procession was attended by residents and guests of the patronal feast, the head of the Muromtsevo district of the Omsk region Sergei Nikolaevich Kazankov, and the church patron Oleg Bulgakov.

After the religious procession, Bishop Vincent and Bishop Silouan congratulated the clergy and believers on the holiday and delivered a word of teaching.

Nice to see how both bishops prayed together in that small church in Muromcev. The male choir under deacon Seraphim Palija must have sounded beautiful during the Liturgy.
