Bishop Artemy of Taganrog celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the site of the church under construction in honor of St. Spyridon of Trimifuntsky in the village of Divny, Aksai districttranslated

On October 11, 2026, on the 19th Sunday after Pentecost, with the blessing of Metropolitan Mercury of Rostov and Novocherkassk, Bishop Artemy of Taganrog, vicar of the Rostov diocese, celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the site of the church under construction in honor of St. Spyridon of Trimifunt in the village of Divny, Aksai region.
His Eminence was co-served by the dean of the Aksai district, Hieromonk Vikenty (Svistunov), the rector of the Church of St. Spyridon of Trimifuntus under construction, Priest Sergius Berezovsky, and the clergy of the Aksai deanery.
The head of the Istomin settlement Kudovba Dmitry Anatolyevich, the ataman of the yurt Cossack society “Aksai Yurt” of the Cherkasy Cossack district Sergey Ivanovich Markov, Cossacks, parishioners, and pilgrims prayed at the service.
The sermon before Holy Communion was delivered by Priest Evgeniy Prokhorov.
The hymns of the service were performed by the parish choir of the Church of St. Spyridon of Trimythous.
At the end of the service, Priest Sergius thanked Vladyka for holding the first Divine Liturgy together on the site of the church under construction.
