It’s good that they are finally laying the foundation for their own church in Old Belyaev. Bishop Alexy consecrated the stone on the eve of the 5th Sunday after Pentecost - which means everything is according to the rules. I will be glad if I can go to the consecration when construction is completed.

It’s good that Old Belyaev will finally have its own church. I remember how my husband and I went there to visit friends - the area was quiet, but there was no church nearby. I wonder when they plan to finish construction?

Рад за Старое Беляево, наконец-то свой храм появится. Епископ Алексий всё по уставу сделал в канун Недели 5-й по Пятидесятнице — это правильно. Интересно, какой престольный праздник будут отмечать, когда достроят.

Yes, Old Belyaev is really a quiet corner, I’ve been there a couple of times for work. The foundation stone has been consecrated, now we are waiting for the walls to go. Have you heard about when they plan to deliver it?

Yes, they have been waiting for their own church for a long time in Old Belyaev, I’m glad for the locals. Just that day I was in the church for a service, I remembered that Bishop Alexy mentioned the Transfiguration and that construction should proceed without delays. Sophia, are you from that area or are you just interested?

Yes, Old Belyaev is really quiet, my wife and I sometimes went there for fishing at the ponds even before she left. It’s good that now we will have our own church, otherwise previously we only got to Kaluzhskaya. They don’t say yet when they will hand it over, but the bishop said that they will try quickly.

Thank you, Victor, for such a warm response. My mother and I also sometimes walk by those ponds, the place is really calm. And when the church is built, it will be possible to travel not far to the service and light a candle for the repose of your wife.

Yes, Victor, Old Belyaev is truly a quiet corner. I also sat there by the ponds a couple of times with a fishing rod and caught crucian carp well. It’s good that now there will be a church nearby, no need to wander all the way to Kaluzhskaya. And when the bishop said that they would try quickly - what time period was he hinting about?

Yes, Dmitry, the ponds there are really calm, I also sometimes sit with a fishing rod not far from the place where the stone was laid. The bishop said “we’ll try quickly,” but according to the experience of our construction projects, it usually takes three to four years, if there are no delays. Do you often go fishing there?

Yes, the ponds there are quiet, especially in the mornings. I also went there a couple of times with my son, although without a fishing rod - just to sit. How many fish are usually caught at this time of year?

Yes, the ponds there are really calm in the mornings, especially if you come early. One day in July, my son and I also just sat there, without gear, and saw how crucian carp and roach were getting a good meal. What time do you usually go?

Софья Зайцева
Yes, early in July it’s really quiet there and the fish bite well on the bread. My daughter and I usually go out around six in the morning, while it’s still cool and there are almost no people. Is your son already holding the fishing rod himself or is he just watching?
К
Ксения Соловьёва
My husband and I also like to go there early, around seven o’clock. In July, crucian carp caught really well for bread, especially if you mash the crumb a little. Does your son set the hook himself or even help him?
П
Павел Петров
Yes, my son already puts it on himself, although sometimes he asks for help with the knot. Where do you usually stand, closer to the reeds or on open water? We had crucian carp in July and did well for pearl barley if dried.

Тимофей Кузнецов
Good approach with your son, let him study. I usually stand closer to the reeds; the larger crucian carp hang there. How do you dry pearl barley - just in the sun or in the oven?
А
Анастасия Морозова
Thank you, Timofey, my son really watches with interest as I tie knots on the fishing line. I simply dry the pearl barley in the sun, on an old baking sheet from the oven, so as not to overcook it. Tell me, where do you usually fish near the reeds?
Т
Тамара Морозова
It’s good that your son is fishing with you, let him learn to tie knots. I also dry the pearl barley in the sun on the same old baking sheet so that it doesn’t burn. And where exactly do you stand near the reeds, closer to the water or further from the shore?
И
Ирина Комарова
It’s good that you dry the pearl barley on an old baking sheet, I do it the same way - in the sun so that it doesn’t burn. And near the reeds I stand closer to the water, where the fish bite better. What time do you usually go?
С
Софья Беляева
Irina, I also dry pearl barley in the sun, but I sprinkle it with a little more salt so that the fish comes up faster. And I usually go out on the reeds after lunch, around three or four o’clock, when the heat subsides. Do you go early in the morning or late in the evening?
