BISHOP PORFIRY PERFORMED THE DIVINE LITURGY IN THE CHURCH OF THE CROSS IN THE VILLAGE OF BOBRYtranslated
On August 6, on the day of remembrance of the holy martyrs, noble princes Boris and Gleb, Bishop Porfiry of Lida and Smorgon celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross in the village of Bobry.
His Eminence was co-served by the dean of the Lida district, Archpriest Rostislav Lemachko, and the rector of the church, Priest Leonid Vabishchevich.
The diaconal rank was headed by Protodeacon Evgeniy Vasilevsky.
The liturgical hymns were performed by a choir led by Veronica Olshanets.
During the service, intense prayers were offered for the restoration of peace.
The sermon on the sacramental verse was delivered by Archpriest Rostislav Lemachko.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Porfiry performed a funeral litany, then addressed the parishioners with a sermon, congratulated everyone present on the holiday and gave an archpastoral blessing.
