On August 13, 2026, in the Alexander Nevsky Novo-Tikhvin Convent of the city of Yekaterinburg, a regional round table “Practical fulfillment of monastic vows in modern conditions” was held for monastics of the Ural monasteries.

The round table was held with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'. It was attended by archpastors, abbots, abbesses and monastics from dioceses located in the Ural Federal District, in person and online.

The work of the monastic conference was headed by Metropolitan Ekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy.

Guests of the round table were Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, Metropolitan Dionisy of Omsk and Irtysh, Chairman of the Synodal Department for Monasteries and Monasticism of the Belarusian Exarchate, Bishop of Lida and Smorgon Porfiry, as well as the Abbess of the Moscow Conception Monastery, Abbess Juliania (Kaleda), member of the Synodal Department for Monasteries and monasticism of the Russian Orthodox Church.
