On October 24, on the day of remembrance of the Council of the Reverend Elders of Otpinsky, Bishop Ignatius of Polotsk and Glubokoye led the Divine Liturgy in the parish of the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Spreader of the Loaves” agr. Kushliki.

At the walls of the church with a loaf of bread and flowers, Bishop Ignatius was met by the children of the Sunday and local school, parishioners of the church, the director of OJSC “Kushliki” Fedor Fedorovich Zavadsky and the director of the State Educational Institution “Kushlikovskaya Basic School of the Polotsk District” Marina Veniaminovna Gribova.

His Eminence was served by: the secretary of the Polotsk diocese and the rector of the church, Archpriest Alexander Petlitsky, the dean of the Polotsk church district, Archpriest Alexander Shakhovich, Priest Georgy Odynets, Priest John Gavrilchik, Priest Tikhon Antukh, Deacon Vladimir Dzhezhora, Deacon Boris Marmuzevich.

Liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Epiphany Cathedral in Polotsk under the direction of Natalia Semashko.

After the special litany, Bishop Ignatius offered a prayer for the restoration of peace.

The sermon on the sacramental verse was delivered by the rector of the church, Archpriest Alexander Petlitsky.

After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, the archpastor and concelebrating clergy performed a prayer service with a procession of the cross.
