Bishop Ignatius consecrated the frescoes on the chapel of the Plissa sports complex in the Glubokoe deanerytranslated

On July 8, the consecration of the frescoes took place in the chapel of the Plissa sports complex. The sanatorium-resort complex turned 10 years old. Bishop Ignatius of Polotsk and Glubokoe rewarded those who had especially worked.

His Eminence, in the co-service of the dean of the Glubokoe church district, Archpriest Mikhail Izoitko, Archpriest Vyacheslav Peshko, Deacon Vladimir Dzhezhora and Deacon Boris Marmuzevich, served a thanksgiving prayer service and asked for a blessing for future work and ministry.

At the end of the rite of consecration, the archpastor addressed the pastoral word: – Congratulations on the small but important and wonderful anniversary of the Sanatorium and Resort Complex. The most important thing for a person is not to forget to thank God for everything that exists. For us, such an example are the saints. Saint John Chrysostom always said: “Glory to God for everything,” while suffering in exile, from reproach and slander. Moreover, we must thank God for His mercies and blessings. After all, the work that you are doing here - making other people healthier - is God’s work: caring about health, about salvation. And it’s very good that there is a chapel on the territory.
