Bishop Theognost took part in the Royal Days in Yekaterinburgtranslated

On the night of July 16-17, the key events of the Royal Days took place in Yekaterinburg - the Divine Liturgy and the repentant Royal procession of the cross, timed to coincide with the day of remembrance of the Holy Royal Passion-Bearers.

Bishop Feognost of Serov and Krasnoturinsky took part in the service. The Divine Liturgy took place in the square in front of the lower aisle of the Church-Monument on the Blood. It was headed by 19 bishops, including:

permanent member of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, head of the Central Asian Metropolitan District, Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan; representative of the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', Metropolitan Niphon of Philippopolis; Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy and other archpastors.

Immediately after the completion of the bishop's Divine Liturgy, the repentant Royal procession began from the Church-Monument on the Blood to the monastery in honor of the holy Royal Passion-Bearers in the Ganina Yama tract. According to preliminary estimates, about 44,000 pilgrims took part in the main services of the Royal Days.
