Bishop Benedict, exhortation at the beginning of Lent: Let's leave the noise of the world for a whiletranslated

"Let's leave the noise of the outside world for a while, let's give form to the power of communion and witness the joy of our Orthodox faith", sends Bishop Benedict of Sălaj in a message at the beginning of Lent.
"We are all called, priests, monks and believers, to give more consistency to our lives and, together, to help each other grow spiritually in the midst of the community to which we belong," adds His Eminence.
Spiritual pilgrimage The hierarch reminds at the beginning of his message that "The Fasting of the Assumption of the Mother of God is a favorable time for spiritual recollection", and at the end he likens the passage of this period to an inward pilgrimage: "Let us set out on the road with courage and a pure heart", urges the father bishop.
Moreover, in the Episcopate of Sălaj, the post will end with a pedestrian pilgrimage called the Path of Precision and dedicated to the Mother of God, protector of families, children and young people.
The pilgrimage was instituted last year and takes place annually on the eve of the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, from Sânpetru Almașului to Strâmba Monastery, Sălaj county, where the miracle-working icon of the Virgin Mary "Sweet Kiss" is located...
