Bishop Iustin of Maramureș and Sătmar and Vicar Bishop Timotei Sătmăreanul of the Diocese of Maramureș and Sătmar participated on Friday in the Philanthropy Charity Gala, dedicated to supporting the operation of the "Saint Pantelimon" Palliative Care Center. It was built by the Episcopate at Satu Nou de Jos, Groși commune in Maramures.

The event gathered at the Romanita Restaurant in Recea, Maramureș county, approximately 500 participants, including representatives of the Romanian Patriarchate, the Diocese of Maramureș and Sătmar and other dioceses, members of the business community, representatives of the authorities and other people involved in the community.

The special guests of the event were Daniel Buzdugan, who acted as host, Dr. Ligia Cristina Truică, primary physician in hematology, and Dr. Iustinian Ioachim Simion, primary physician specializing in neurosurgery.
