On Monday, July 27, and Tuesday, July 28, St. Vladimir's parish of Mt. Ann Arbor, USA Michigan, celebrated its 45th anniversary. In many ways, St. Vladimir's parish is the successor to the parish of St. Hilarion the Great, which existed in Ann Arbor in the 1950s and was one of four parishes of the short-lived Detroit-Flint Diocese, headed by Archbishop Jerome (Chernov; +1957).
