Students from Cluj-Napoca started the new school year on Monday by praying at the Metropolitan Cathedral. "Through serious and good teaching, be a strength to the Church and a great joy to the parents", urged Metropolitan Andrei of Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj.

The place of worship was not spacious enough for the children, young people, teachers and parents who participated in the Tedeum service officiated by the Most Reverend Father Andrei.

Metropolitan Andrei wished the students success and urged them to use their school years for their formation as people and Christians.

"We pray to God to enlighten your mind, warm your heart and strengthen your will, so that, throughout this school year, you will do very beautiful things, for the strengthening of you as people, who will make a better country than the one we have today. I wish you a new school year full of rich fruits. Happy New Year!"

It’s good that children start the year with prayer in the cathedral. Metropolitan Andrei said correctly - let them study seriously, so that later they can make the country better. In Voronezh we also have such prayer services before school; your heart is always in the right place when you see so many guys together.
