Students from ten countries participate in the International Olympiad of Hellenism in Bucharesttranslated

Students from ten countries are participating this week in the International Olympiad of Hellenism at the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, informs Agerpres. The competition is organized by the Hellenic Union of Romania and is dedicated to the Greek language, culture and civilization.
Participants from Albania, Armenia, France, Greece, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary were present on Friday at the official opening and the competition trial. They took place in the room of the Education Commission of the Chamber of Deputies.
The President of the Hellenic Union of Romania (UER), Deputy Dragoș Gabriel Zisopol, also announced a surprise for the participants: the Greek artist Elli Kokkinou will come to the Parliament Palace on Saturday morning to award the Olympians.
The International Olympiad of Hellenism was launched in 2014, at the initiative of the Romanian Hellenic Union and Deputy Dragoș Gabriel Zisopol, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
