Excursion to the Holy Trinity Church of Vsevolozhsktranslated

On July 1, Combat Veterans Day, a group of recipients of social services, including family members of defenders of the Fatherland, visited the Holy Trinity Church in Vsevolozhsk. The event was held as part of the “Spiritual Revival” program.

During the meeting, the dean of the Vsevolozhsk district, the rector of the temple, Priest Dimitry Chuev, performed a prayer service for the increase of love and the salvation of Russia and a litany for the fallen soldiers. In his sermon, Father Dimitri noted that love for God is expressed through prayer for neighbors, especially for those who are serving in military service today.

After the service, the clergyman gave a tour of the temple and talked about its history and shrines. The meeting took place in a warm, sincere atmosphere. The participants express their sincere gratitude to Father Dimitri for his cordiality and wise instructions, as well as to the organizers for the opportunity to touch the shrine during the days of Peter the Great’s Lent.
