Excursion to the churchtranslated

June 22, 2026 · 1 min read

The church of the holy martyrs Minodora, Metrodora, Nymphodora in the town of Ushachi was visited by children from the health camp of the State Educational Institution “Glybochansky Secondary School named after B.I. Yurkin, Ushachi district."

During the excursion, the young travelers became acquainted with the structure and purpose of the church, the most revered icons, and the lives of the holy sisters - martyrs.

At the Sunday school, an information hour was held for guests about the holy noble prince Alexander Nevsky, whose 805th anniversary is celebrated this year. The children learned about the courage and wisdom of the holy warrior, and that in the town of Ushachi there used to be a church dedicated to this saint.
