The former priest of the Russian Orthodox Church in Kazakhstan, Iakov Vorontsov, is no longer accused of “organizing a drug den.” The charge under Part 1 of Article 302 of the Criminal Code is not contained in the report from the prosecutor’s office handed to Vorontsov, his lawyer Galym Nurpeisov told RFE/RL. The defense attorney does not know the reasons for dropping the charges. “The prosecutor did not inform. He is an accuser.
