Eight new bells arrive at Our Lady of Balamand Patriarchal Monastery
A new set of eight bells has arrived at the Patriarchal Monastery of Our Lady of Balamand in Lebanon, with the blessing of Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East.
The bells, which were brought from Romania, were consecrated and sprinkled with holy water upon their arrival at the monastery on August 11, 2026.
A specialized team will undertake their installation in the historic bell tower of the monastery.
The Patriarchal Monastery of Our Lady of Balamand expressed its gratitude to all the benefactors whose contributions made the project possible.
The monastery also noted that those wishing to support its ongoing building and social initiatives may make contributions through its official website.
